The group stands on six business pillars
motor part manufacturing and marketing, motorbike production and marketing, development of energy solutions, development of business related to the farming activity and investment in real estate both in Argentina and other countries, and most recently, the motor vehicle division.
Today, more than 800 people are part of this thriving business group that started 50 years ago as a family venture in the city of Venado Tuerto, where José Ismael Iraola started manually manufacturing motor vehicle shock absorbers back in 1969.
However, his son and current President of the group, Leandro José Iraola, made this group exponentially grow in the last two decades. What started as a family venture that manufactured and sold just one product – the shock absorber – became a business group with several business branches and with activity in more than 35 countries worldwide.

The company opens the first distribution center in Ramos Mejía, Buenos Aires.
Corven expands its business to other countries in the continent and starts shock absorber exports to Chile.
The company refreshes the brand image with the iconic kangaroo design that represents it at present.
A new business unit is created in the group related to farming. New line of business related to agriculture.
The shock absorber product family diversifies by creating a special shock absorber for Pick Ups and another one designed for sports cars.
Corven extends the line of business by including distribution of motor parts, constant velocity joints and semi-axes. And later, brake disks and pads were also included.
The group opens to the motorbike market with a 14,000 m2 facility in Venado Tuerto for motorbike assembly and marketing.
Corven Autopartes (Corven Motor Parts) signs an agreement with Bendix and becomes its representative for the brand exclusive distribution and marketing in the country.
The group of Corven companies and their different business units join under the name of Grupo Iraola. The group moves to La Reja, Buenos Aires, where a new center of logistics and administrative offices is opened. Corven Autopartes acquires Sadar Amortiguadores (Sadar Shock absorbers), who has been in Argentina’s market for 60 years.
Corven Motos (Corven Motorbikes) signs a commercial and production agreement with Bajaj, the renowned motorbike company from India. Also, a marketing agreement is signed with Artic cat, the American company.
Corven Autopartes acquires Lipmesa, the iconic Spanish company, renowned in the European market.
The Corven Autopartes unit signs an agreement to represent Hipper Freios and to sell their products in Argentina.
The group signs an agreement with Nclave, the Spanish holding, famous in the segment of clean energy with the purpose of manufacturing Solar Tracker posts in the Province of Santa Fe, Argentina. Two very important international brands FTE Automotive and Firestone Industrial Products add to the Corven Autopartes proposal.
The group creates a new business unit, CVN Motors opening the doors to vehicle marketing. The first vehicles to be launched to the market were the Aumark Fotón trucks, Aumark S1 614 and Aumark S3 815, light-duty vehicles known internationally for the technology of their Cummins engines and ZF transmissions. The group also includes marketing of: Kymco, Kawasaki and Mondial motorbikes enlarging their motorbike brand portfolio.
Grupo Iraola’s motor vehicle unit, CVN Motors, gets involved in the electrical vehicle for urban transportation business by including the 100% electrical Corven Buses manufactured by Zhong Tong.
